LOSS IS NOT EASY

The loss of a pet is a tragic event, whether anticipated or sudden. Owners facing the loss of their pet often find themselves overwhelmed and unprepared to handle the proper disposition of their beloved companion.

LETTING GO

As pet owners, we form special bonds with our companions, so it is only natural that many of us wish to follow the human model of burial or cremation. Just as we pay tribute to a dear departed loved one, pet owners feel the need to honour the memory of a much-loved pet in the same way.

What an amazing company 💝 They take feelings seriously, and clearly understand the pain people feel when they lose their pets. My daughter recently lost her little angel kitten, and was told by the 24 hour vet that the “cremation company” was closed until the new year (this happened on 12th December). Thank goodness she came across Peaceful Paws, who took over and guided my daughter through the process with compassion and professionalism. She received the ashes the following day, presented so beautifully. Peaceful Paws made the loss a little less traumatic, and we can’t thank you enough. Highly recommend.

I was overwhelmed by the kindness of the Peaceful Paws team when they came to help me with my lovely Chilli. The gracious moral support and check-ins are still so very much appreciated. I’m short for words at how grateful I am for the team <3 From Life-Partner Buddy and also Slinky, we are sending heaps of love x

So happy that I found Peaceful Paws when we needed someone. I contacted them at 2:00 in the morning. Guess what they replied to me! Giving me some comfort and said that they will be at our house at 8:00 to come fetch Luke. 🙁 At 8:00 in heavy rain, they arrived with a pretty looking coffin to take Luke, few days later his ashes delivered. Best service ever. Thank you for loving our pets and making sure they get what they deserve.

On Saturday 13 Feb 2021, yes a day before Valentines day. I was sadden by the loss of my baby beautiful girl pitbull Sasha. Oh how much I love her. I was blessed with her presence for 9 human years. I wasn’t prepared for this great loss even though she was ageing I thought I still had time to spare. So I had a real rude awakening when she took her last breath, I honestly didn’t know what to do or where to go to arrange her burial. So I turned to Google my other best friend and I happen to come across “Peaceful Paws” I immediately made contact with them and spoke to Karen. She was truly amazing, her words of comfort humbled me and soon we made the necessary arrangements for my baby to be cremated. The process was completely seamless and within an hour two angels arrived to pick up my Sasha girl. Nicky and her assistant were extremely patient and loving as they comforted us for our loss and gave use words of encouragement. They were so gentle with her as they moved her and placed her into their car. I felt at peace knowing that they were going to treat her with loving care as I have for the time that I was blessed with her. It truly gave me abundant joy in heart to know that there are kind people out there who love and care for animals as we do but even more amazing that even though her body was lifeless they treated with real love. Thank you Karen and team for assisting me. Regards Lucille

I recently had a very traumatic experience in where my 14yr old cat ‘Tigger’ got killed (I was out for a few hours). I had NO idea what to do with his little stiff body… I have 2 dogs, so I couldn’t bury him – and I wasn’t willing to put my cuddle buddy in a dustbin bag! I searched the web and found Peaceful Paws. They were very supportive & sincere, professional and efficient. They collected the body that same afternoon, transported him, in style, to be cremated and a few days later returned to hand me back my ‘Tigger’ – neatly packed in a box with rose petals & seeds to plant a tree. It was beautiful and worth the price for a dignified send-off. I cannot thank you ladies enough! xoxo

No words can describe the kindness and comfort I have received from Karen and Nikki when I lost my 17 year old fur baby Mawjie on the 13th of December 2020.. I enquired about their services a few weeks before Mawjie left us and Karen was amazing! She comforted me and acknowledged my pain.. considering Mawjie was older than our kids. She advised me and we talked for a long time before exchanging numbers. We continued to chat and exchanged pictures of our fur babies. A few weeks later On that dreadful Sunday evening when I called Karen, she knew exactly who we were and the support I received and was incredible. Nikki arrived within an hour, such an amazing kind hearted person who looked as broken as I was.. she shared my grief.. she gave me the time that I needed with Mawjie before handing her over.. I couldn’t afford the cremation all at once and not only did they make arrangements for me.. they gave me an incredible discount!! Who does that?? In today’s world its all about the money! Right? Not these ladies! Nope! They are GodSent🙌truly in it because of the love they have and share for our fur babies❤I truly hope I am able to show you ladies just how you have impacted my life just with the time and kindness you showed me when I was at my lowest.. you guys are in my daily prayers🙏much much love and appreciation 💗 thank you
